6th January Snow and DIY

Snow, snow and more snow, that is all everyone spoke about today. Lynne and Peter spoke about it to each other and then everytime the phone rang they talked about SNOW!
Any way I am nearly ready to go out, look what I found this morning.......
a lovely red scarf, I love it !
Whilst Lynne made a cup of tea for herself and Peter I put my scarf on and looked out at the white stuff from the kitchen window
I did go out for a few mins but didn't like it much so came back and found Lynne cooking again, she seems to do this everyday. Today she was making Sally's souper soup, another SW soup LOL!! Peter enjoyed it as he kept saying " delicious" but he wasn't allowed anymore, I stuck to my bones today
I learnt that DIY meant "Do it Yourself". Lynne and Peter don't have any of those books but I found a book that Peter had for Christmas which might make Mae and Florrie like me more if I learn some of these games
Mae spent all day inside watcching the snow and didn't seem interested in the games that I wanted to play
.
Quite a boring day so hope tomorrow is more exciting! Cheerio for now xxxx

Proper food

Claire asked Lynne if she bought any proper food in Sainsbury's....well here is your answer, bones like Jo had so I am a very happy little dog!
I will have to find out about DIY tomorrow and then talk to my friend Hedgie.
Cheerio for now xx

5th January A Shopping trip!

Another day and gosh what a lot I learnt this morning, not sure where it all fits in with my hopes and dreams, though I did find proper dog food!Lynne actually was up before me this morning and told me we were going shopping to a super store called Sainsbury's. I had already seen this word on packets of food around the house so knew it was connected to food!
We dropped Peter off and you can just see that little person on the LH side of the photo disappearing into town. I was allowed to sit in front of the steering wheel with Lynne so enjoyed the car ride.
Well now I know all about healthy SW food, tomatoes and more tomatoes and courgettes an......
I got rather bored but enjoyed riding in the trolley and people kept stopping Lynne and talking about me
Oh and then we met Auntie Carol for breakfast and I tried Lynne's Latte. It was a skinny latte because I heard the lady making it ask Lynne. It didn't look very skinny to me!
Now I thought Pamela was skinny but she doesn't look like the latte!
How difficult these words are but I don't want to look at that dictionary again so I will keep quiet.
We finally carried on shopping and met JO who should have been driving her van but had ended up doing the shopping for the vans and was very unhappy that she wasn't driving today! She let me ride on her very big trolley and whilst I went for a ride, guess what I spied....
Now that was more like it!
Well I am home now and it is very cold and that white stuff is coming down from the sky and I still have no boots or jacket, so off to have a sleep before I have to do DHW or something that Hedgie was talking bout earlier called DIY. Lynne says not to worry because NO DIY happens in this house, perhaps Hedgie should come and stay with us when his Nanny and Grandad start their DIY.
Wonder what that means??
Oh well cheerio for now xxxxxx

4th January

Well it was a very strange day. Not what I had been use to.

Peter was up and about before I woke up and Lynne stayed in bed. Then Peter left the house on his own saying he was walking to work. Where did he go LOL!!

Lynne finally got up after being on her laptop and went into this craftroom. Well I think it is a messy room and not sure what I think about this craft mularky yet! Then Lynne started on DHW which I found out means dreaded housework. I didn't think much of it either so disappeared for a while
and found this laptop in this craft room which seemed fun. I found some friends also doing blogs for 365 and had a quick word with Pamela who had had to go to 'stinky work' today...I wondered if she was with Peter but she said no Peter wasn't there, only Jeffrey and he was a loser. I couldn't understand what he had lost! Life seems very difficult to me at times
I promised Pamela I would get Lynne on the task of a new winter coat as soon as possible. I am still waiting for my boots so I can go out with out being in Lynne's small bag!
So Pamela, I thought Lynne was finally on the job, BUT the problem is she is rather like butterfly..... she then watched some TV, talked on the telephone for ages - She wants us to go to Brittany in France for REALLY CHEAP holiday i the Daily Mail today but couldn't get through. She then got involved in something called a challenge on UKS, and afterwards spent ages cooking, she says she loves this? Food again LOL!!
Pamela, will try and get her back on task tomorrow

Cheerio for now xxxx

Sunday 3rd January again

Well I didn't like church, not because of all the people or the music but as soon as Chris the vicar started talking I was put in Lynne's bag and I felt very squashed and hot!
It was nice to meet Amie and Lewis and there was more food that I tried but didn't like!
These things are called yorkshire puddings and Lynne said once again "no thank you"
and this was definitely no for Lynne and Peter has his last pudding for a while( he has to start something called SW tomorrow, wonder if it tasted nice?).
It was called Chocolate roulade and Jo said it was all hers??
Still I like Jo cos she finally gave me proper dog food as she had Jesse staying
and gave me some dog bones to take home with me, yummy yummy, proper food at last!
Cheerio for now, time for a sleep again as it has been a long day xxxxx

3rd January

Well I slept well last night after seeing myself in this dream mirror that Lynne showed me.
I quite liked what I saw. Lynne says this is what self portraits are like.....well I like them!
I wanted to know what was behind this closed door when I went round the house since all other doors in the house are open
Lynne told me it was her craft room. Craft, crafty?....that is another funny word I didn't understand.
She says we will go in there tomorrow when Peter goes back to work. Not sure I want to go somewhere crafty?
I hope I will like the room but why is the door shut?

Well Lynne found me a dictionary this morning before we went to church and showed the the word 'maintain'I really couldn't understand the difficult writing so she explained that it was to stay the same. Why didn't she say that in the first place! So I have to stay the same weight all year.
I hope I can?

Right we have a busy day ahead, my first visit to church, then another family to meet for more food and then a visit to the hospital to see Lynne and Peter's friend John. They have told me I might have to stay in the car as he is only allowed 2 visitors at a time. I am disappointed by that! Cheerio and I'll be back later

2nd January My hopes and Dreams?

Good morning well I spent a very sleepless night thinking about these hopes and dreams. Lynne tried to explain this to me and told me not to worry about weight and things I don't know or don't understand but I did worry, especially about weight because I didn't realise how important it was before.
Anyway I hope
  • I don't become obsessed with weight LOL!! and can maintain? Still don't understand this word maintain, will have to use something called a dictionary and find out what this word means
  • I get my wellies soon so I can spend more time outside when it is frosty and rainy
  • Everyone that I meet likes me and I like them too
  • that the things I have to learn to do this year are not too difficult

and I dream about

  • proper dog food
  • lots of hugs
  • lots of walks not sure about this as I haven't seen Lynne put her head outside the door yet
Well I definitely dream about proper dog food as this cooked breakfast is def not my cuppa tea!

I hope when I finally met Mae and Florrie that they would like me? I think they did, I gave Mae a lovely cuddle while I waited for Peter and Lynne to get up,....they were late this morning nearly 9.15am
